Some people greet Monday with a smile.


Some greet it like a cat greets bath time.



Letโ€™s be honest โ€” Monday is a feeling:


โ€œSadness?โ€ โ€œDread.โ€ โ€œWhy was the weekend only 12 minutes?โ€



๐Ÿง  Psychology calls this a threat state โ€” when your brain says:



โ€œI donโ€™t have the resources to handle whatโ€™s coming.โ€



Cue: tight chest, racing thoughts, avoidance, and Googling โ€œisland with no Wi-Fi.โ€



โšก But thereโ€™s another option:ย 



โœ…โ€œThis is toughโ€ฆ but Iโ€™ve got this.โ€



Same situation.


Same workload.


Same Monday.


Different appraisal.

๐ŸŸฆ Anticipate one thing you enjoy.


๐ŸŸฆ Treat Sunday night like a soft landing.


๐ŸŸฆ Remember: Monday isnโ€™t the enemy. Rumination is.



๐ŸŒ… You can walk into the week like:



๐Ÿ˜ฉ โ€œSave me.โ€


or


๐Ÿ’ช โ€œ๐–๐š๐ญ๐œ๐ก ๐ฆ๐ž.โ€



And the science says โ€” the second one wins.
