Some people greet Monday with a smile.
Some greet it like a cat greets bath time.
Letโs be honest โ Monday is a feeling:
โSadness?โ โDread.โ โWhy was the weekend only 12 minutes?โ
๐ง Psychology calls this a threat state โ when your brain says:
โI donโt have the resources to handle whatโs coming.โ
Cue: tight chest, racing thoughts, avoidance, and Googling โisland with no Wi-Fi.โ
โก But thereโs another option:ย
โ โThis is toughโฆ but Iโve got this.โ
Same situation.
Same workload.
Same Monday.
Different appraisal.

or

And the science says โ the second one wins.
